Sunday – Game Day

Today, both the Packers and Brewers are playing. Once again it’s do or die for the Brewers in their first game of the best of 7 series vs. the Cardinals, a rematch of the 1982 World Series, which the Brewers lost. A move to the NL by the Brewers means this is “only” for the pennant and a trip to the World Series.

Fortunately, the Packers play after the Brewers, so I can watch BOTH games.

Phil and I went for a walk this afternoon, enjoying the Englischer Garten in fall.

Now, we’re ready for a beer and pizza dinner followed by the Brewers and the Packers games.

Go Brewpack!

England – Cornwall

For the last week in September, Phil and I were in England. We celebrated Norman’s 80th birthday and spent three nights on the British coast in Cornwall and two nights with friends. We had amazing summer-like weather and a wonderful time.
